Like any responsible business, we have been closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation both globally and within the UK.
Our houses and apartments are fully self contained with ample space, and are cleaned to a very high standard. Cleanliness has always been something we pride ourselves in and we have always been hyper vigilant, but we have now taken extra precautions to help minimise the risk of COVID19.
We are keeping up to date on government advice whilst also putting into place our own measures to ensure the health and safety of our staff and guests. PPE, new cleaning schedules and alternate shift patterns to ensure social distancing have all been implemented. NHS and Government backed hand washing advice posters are on display in the communal areas and in each apartment or house. We will be deep cleaning our communal areas on a more frequent basis to ensure that these areas and lock boxes for keys are thoroughly sanitised.
Contactless private self check ins will be the preferred option to check in.
Items that could harbour the virus have been removed from the properties and we now provide lots of information digitally which will be sent to you prior to check in.
We shall also be providing anti-bacterial hand gels in communal areas along with anti bacterial wipes, tissues and bins. All members of our staff have completed an online e-learning training course on Coronavirus and are constantly kept up to date regarding health and safety in the workplace along with stringent hygiene measures and our thorough risk assessments.
Here at the Blackpool Resort family we enlist the help of a professional commercial laundry company to ensure your linens are boil washed, dried at high temperatures and then steam pressed to the highest standard. Our housekeepers use colour coded cloths that are allocated to different areas to minimize cross contamination and are now even equipped with a UV torch to help see what the naked eye cannot. We are doing all this so we can fully ensure our impeccably high standards as well as our safety and yours.
